Hanoi to Kickstart 2026 as PPA Tour Asia Drops First Three Stops

The 2026 pickleball season in Asia is gearing up and the first three stops are loaded.
The New Year is here and three tournaments are locked in with Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, and Macao all pinned on the map and ready to deliver a world-class pickleball experience both on and off the court.
The MB Hanoi Cup (1-5 April) kicks off the season with the tour’s first showing in Northern Vietnam, bringing 1,000 PPA ranking points and an international field to My Dinh Indoor Athletics Arena. It’s a major step into new territory in one of Southeast Asia’s most captivating capitals, and players and fans will be circling this one on the calendar.
Hanoi is where ancient traditions meet modern energy on streets alive with motion. The Old Quarter’s labyrinthine lanes buzz with energy, while the cooler northern climate and tree-lined boulevards create a distinctly different atmosphere from the south. Known for incredible food culture, rich history, and that uniquely vibrant-yet-timeless energy, Hanoi is primed to be an exciting new backdrop for the tour.

After Vietnam, the tour returns to familiar ground. The Kuala Lumpur Open (14-17 May) brings players back to 9Pickle, one of the tour’s loudest, most electric venues. Malaysia’s capital has quickly become a fan favorite. The KL crowds delivered the energy last year, and they’ll be ready to run it back in 2026.
The three-stop drop closes with the Macao Open (28-31 May), where the tour shifts gears. Macao, China brings yet another dimension to the tour with a glittering showcase of entertainment, luxury, and spectacle. Known for its dazzling skyline, world-class resorts, and next-level glamour, the compact island pulses with energy and excess. Macao offers a high-octane, lights-on stage for professional pickleball in the heart of the Pearl River Delta.
